Shirley's NEW Monthly Message from Alfie.
Spring is here!
The big field next to Grandma’s house is the best place to do it, because there are not so many trees for the kite string to get tangled up in. Grandma is not very good at flying kites and neither is Annie Rose. Alfie thinks he’ll probably wait until Dad can help him, and then the wind will take it up, up and away, ever so high. Perhaps even as high as the clouds?

Spring is here! Time to get out and about in the park or back garden. Alfie and Annie Rose are visiting Grandma, who lives in the country, where it’s been raining a lot. But they’ve found a kite in the attic, and when the rain stops they’ll be able to fly it.
